Hyundai Glovis has been completed the consultation about the logistics of Garak Market

One of Hyundai Glovis’ projects, the consultation about the logistics of Garak Market, Vegetable Building Two, which is currently modernizing its facilities, has now been completed. The consultation was held due to a change in the way that business is being carried out. Previously, goods were sold/transported by truck without unloading. However, goods are now being unloaded and sold by box or pallet instead. During the consultation, a plan to optimize the logistics operation was formulated. The newly changed logistics process has increased wholesalers’ waiting time but Hyundai Glovis’ analysis found a way to reduce wholesalers’ waiting time, and also radically reduce the time that it took to distribute vegetables within the marketplace itself. Ultimately it will reduce the price of agricultural products, which is borne by the consumer, and increase Garak Market’s competitive advantage.
